OPPORTUNITY

n

Due to continued growth, an opportunity exists for a Project Engineer to join the QLD team, supporting both design coordination and project delivery across mining and industrial projects.

n

Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role across the full project lifecycle, from pre-sales and design review through to site execution and commissioning support.

n

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys balancing office-based engineering work with site-based project delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

n

- Support design coordination across mechanical and electrical systems
n
- Review and interpret engineering drawings using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
n
- Assist with project planning, scheduling and progress tracking using Microsoft Project
n
- Contribute to pre-sales activities including technical input and proposal evaluation
n
- Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, contractors and clients
n




- Ensure projects are delivered in line with Australian Standards and client expectations
n
- Support site activities including installation, commissioning, inspections and troubleshooting
n
- Maintain project documentation including drawings, schedules, reports and updates
n
- Monitor project performance, timelines and compliance across multiple sites
n

CANDIDATE

n

n
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering
n
- Previous experience within mining, heavy industrial, wastewater or similar sectors
n
- Background working with an engineering consultancy, EPC/EPCM contractor or asset owner highly regarded
n
- Proficient in AutoCAD with ability to review and modify drawings
n
- Experience using Microsoft Project for scheduling and tracking
n
- Strong understanding of Australian Standards (AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 61439 advantageous)
n
- Previous site experience across installation, commissioning or maintenance activities
n
- Strong communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
n
- Practical, hands‐on approach with ability to operate across both office and site environments
n

- Full Australian working rights

- Ability to work from the Eagle Farm office 3–4 days per week
