Multiquip Poultry is a national leader in the Australian poultry industry, specialising in the transportation of live birds, eggs and processed poultry from farms to processing plants.
We are seeking a dedicatedWHS Coordinatorto join our team based inLoganholme, working closely with the National WHS Manager to ensure effective workplace health and safety (WHS) practices across the company.
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent - Onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the National WHS Manager to align WHS activities across the company
- Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of WHS policies and procedures
- Develop and review SOPs, task instructions, and training materials
- Lead incident reporting and investigations, ensuring compliance with WHS regulations
- Manage the site-level incident reporting system and document control processes
- Assist in the function of RTW return to work functions at a site level and reporting to Senior Management
- Perform regular site safety inspections, report findings, and implement corrective actions
- Advise on WHS matters and recommend improvements
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for WHS processes
- Deliver safety training to employees and perform other duties as required
About You:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a WHS Coordinator
- Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety (or equivalent preferred)
- Proven ability to identify hazards and implement effective risk mitigation strategies
- Experience in creating WHS documentation and managing safety systems
- Background in engineering, manufacturing, transport, or logistics is highly regarded
- Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
