Partner – Risk & Compliance Oversight

RAC is seeking an experienced risk and compliance professional to partner with senior leadership in driving risk awareness and compliance at RAC Insurance.

n

Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead and enhance the RAC Insurance risk and compliance oversight strategy, strengthening a proactive risk culture.
n
- Conduct second line assurance reviews and drive improvements across all risk areas.
n
- Oversee and challenge RAC Insurance's risk profile, ensuring alignment with risk appetites and tolerances.
n
- Provide subject‐matter expert advice to senior management and deliver timely, insightful reports on risk and compliance performance.
n
- Build and sustain qualified relationships with internal stakeholders and external regulators.
n
- Lead, coach, and mentor team members to support growth and organisational objectives.
n

Qualifications

n

n
- Extensive experience in risk or compliance roles within financial services or regulated industries, ideally insurance.
n
- In‐depth understanding of APRA standards, the Insurance Contracts Act,



and the General Insurance Code of Conduct.
n
- Strong analytical capabilities, critical thinking, and effective communication skills for diverse audiences.
n
- Tertiary qualifications in risk management, insurance, or a related field (industry memberships a plus).
n
