About the Role
n
As a Psychiatry Registrar in Uniting's Early Psychosis Program, you'll provide high-quality, youth-centered care to young people experiencing early signs of psychosis or complex mental health presentations. You'll be involved in:
n
- Clinical supervision and collaborative medical reviews with consultants
n
- Independent medical assessments, care planning, and script writing
n
- Clinical consultation, case reviews, and brief therapeutic interventions
n
- Supporting recovery-focused care in partnership with our multidisciplinary team
n
What You'll Need
n
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner
n
- Enrolment in the RANZCP Psychiatry Registrar Training Program
n
- Proven ability to deliver evidence-based psychological interventions
n
- Strong commitment to trauma-informed, youth-centered recovery care
n
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence
n
- Excellent engagement and communication skills with young people and families
n
