Animal Referral Hospital Homebush is seeking an experienced Medicine Veterinary Nurse to join our growing specialist team. Our Medicine service manages a diverse and challenging caseload, providing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic care across a wide range of complex medical conditions. Supported by two Internal Medicine Specialists and one of the few feline-only Medicine Registrars in Australia, you will work alongside highly experienced clinicians while delivering exceptional nursing care to referral‐level patients.

In This Role You Will

- Provide advanced patient assessment and monitoring
n
- Administer blood products, chemotherapy, and specialised treatments
n
- Manage feeding tubes and nutritional support plans
n
- Provide nursing support for advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures, including ultrasound, CT, MRI, and endoscopy
n
- Coordinate patient care alongside Specialists and Emergency teams
n
- Maintain high clinical standards and accurate medical records
n
- Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, collaboration, and teamwork
n
n
About You
n
You are an experienced Veterinary Nurse who is confident in managing complex medical patients and enjoys working within a quick‐paced referral environment.

You Will Bring

- Previous Referral Medicine nursing experience
n
- Strong patient assessment, monitoring, and clinical reasoning skills
n
- Experience managing complex medical patients and advanced nursing treatments
n
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
n
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills in a fast‐paced clinical environment
n
- A commitment to exceptional patient care and high clinical standards
n
n
Applicants must have previous experience working within a Referral Medicine Service.
