Assistant Manager – National Tiles

Join National Tiles as an Assistant Manager based at our Port Melbourne store, where you will play a key leadership role in driving sales, coaching the team and maintaining high operational standards.

n

This is a full‐time position offering 40 hours per week on a Tue‐Sat roster.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

- Support the Store Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure smooth store performance
n
- Lead by example to foster a customer‐obsessed culture and deliver meaningful store experiences reflecting the highest industry standards
n
- Coach and motivate the team to deliver outstanding customer experiences and achieve sales targets, budgets and operational KPIs across the full product range
n
- Foster a collaborative, positive culture that empowers every team member to succeed through ongoing coaching, mentoring and support
n
- Manage the end‐to‐end process from store presentation and stock management to compliance with care and accuracy
n
- Champion a safe workplace by following our health and safety practices
n

- Proven leadership experience with a customer‐first mindset and experience meeting targets and KPIs
n
- Results‐driven, commercially astute and motivated about achieving business goals

- Skilled at coaching teams, managing priorities and supporting others to reach their potential

- Solid communicator who leads by example and builds high‐performance cultures

- Quick to adapt, multitask and thrive in a quick‐paced environment
