Senior Network Professional Services Engineer

Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia | Salary: A$150,000.00-A$180,000.00

n

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Solutions PS Consultant to work on a long term engagement in Sydney. This role is responsible for designing, delivering, and supporting complex, large-scale network solutions for Service Provider and Enterprise customers. You will act as a trusted advisor, bridging business imperatives with technical solutions that enable our clients to achieve their strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of advanced network solutions.
n
- Ensure best practices are applied throughout scoping and delivery phases.
n
- Monitor progress, quality, risks, and delays to ensure successful outcomes.
n
- Technical Expertise
n
- Provide deep knowledge of protocols and technologies including BGP, OSPF, ISIS, SR-MPLS, SRv6, L3VPN, EVPN, CoS.
n
- Deploy and optimize HPE Juniper platforms (MX, PTX, EX, QFX, SRX).
n
- Integrate security solutions as an essential component of all designs.
n
- Deliver Professional Services engagements with strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
n




- Act independently on new or special assignments; supervise other consultants when required.
n
- Advocate for Professional Services and contribute to defining service propositions.
n
- Business Alignment

- Understand customer business issues and industry trends to design solutions aligned with business objectives.

- Use creativity and initiative to achieve goals and contribute to company objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

n

n
- Experience: 12–15 years in network architecture and delivery for Service Provider or Enterprise environments.
n
- Certifications: Expert-level networking certifications (e.g., JNCIE, CCIE) highly desirable.
n
- Technical Competence: Solid background in routing, switching, MPLS, VPN technologies, and security integration.
n
- Professional Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
n
- Strong documentation and presentation capabilities.
