About the position

As we head into our busy function season,Wests currentlyhaveseveralcasualopportunitiesfor customer-focused individuals to join their NEX events team.This role will have youprovidinga superior quality service over a variety of events,such asgaladinners,corporate events,schoolformals,concerts, conferences,exhibitions,and many more.Key responsibilities includebut are not limited to:

- Set up and break down of functions
- Preparation and servicebeverages
- Table service for meals and beverages
- Operation of tills and cash handling
- Clearing tables and cleaning duties
- Assistingguests with event inquiries before, during and after functions
- Working closely with the team to ensure smooth operations and a memorable experience for our patrons.

This position will require availability on Fridayand Saturdayevenings,withsomeavailabilitythroughout theremainderof the week.

Certificationsrequired: RSA

About you

You are a team player that knows how to follow directions and think on your feet when needed. Ideal candidates will have prior experience within the customer service industrygained within a restaurantor functionenvironment. You will have exceptional customer service skills, a positive and enthusiastic attitude,



and the ability toretainyourhigh standardsin a busy position.
