About the Role

n

This position plays a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable and productive delivery of Council's water and wastewater services. You'll be responsible for the operation and maintenance of:

Wastewater treatment facilities

n





Pumping stations and associated infrastructure essential to community wellbeing

n

Your work directly supports the health, safety and liveability of our region.

n

TRP Range: $88,500 – $94,500 (L5 -L8)(Dependent on skills, knowledge and qualifications)

n

Plus call‐outs, paid at applicable penalty rates

n

When on call, you will be rostered every second weekend and will receive 3.5 hours of paid work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

n

Junior rates apply for employees under 21 years.

n

Pay and conditions align with Council's Enterprise Bargaining Agreement and the Queensland Local Government Industry (Stream B) Award – State 2017.

n

Hours: 38 hours per week, 19‐day month (Rostered Day Off)

n

Goondiwindi Regional Council may close or withdraw vacancies before the advertised closing date or extend the date without notice.
