Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to join a fast-paced healthcare organisation, managing a complex supplier network and delivering strong service and inventory outcomes across multiple customer segments.

About the Role

n

You will manage day-to-day procurement operations across 1000+ vendors and multiple product categories, ensuring consistent product availability and efficient inventory management.

n

Working closely with operations, commercial and finance teams, you'll play a key role in balancing KPIs across a diverse healthcare customer base.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Manage and optimise a large supplier base (1000+ vendors), ensuring reliable supply and strong commercial outcomes
n
- Lead procurement activities across 6+ product categories
n
- Monitor and drive core KPIs
n
- Improve supplier performance (OTIF, lead times, cost, quality)
n
- Partner with commercial, finance and operations to ensure supply continuity
n
- Manage purchase planning, order execution,



and supplier communications
n
- Identify and implement cost-saving and process improvement initiatives
n
- Support contract negotiations and supplier reviews
n
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain leadership within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or regulated industries
n
- Solid leadership experience managing teams of 20+ employees
n
- Demonstrated success in improving fill rate and inventory performance (stock turns)
n
- Experience across multiple product categories and complex distribution environments
n
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
n
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement tools
n
