We're Hiring: LTSA Engineer to support our BESS service operations

EVE Energy is scaling our local service team to support our growing Australian BESS project pipeline. We're looking for a hands-on field engineer to deliver on-site technical service, maintenance and fault resolution for our LTSA customers.

What you'll do

n

n
- Execute on-site preventive & corrective maintenance for utility-scale and C&I; BESS systems under LTSA contracts
n
- Troubleshoot BESS faults (battery modules, PCS, BMS/EMS, HVAC, fire protection systems) and provide timely resolution
n
- Conduct regular site inspections, performance testing and system health checks, submit detailed service reports
n
- Provide technical support to customers and subcontractors, respond to 24/7 emergency fault callouts as required
n
- Support commissioning and handover of recent BESS projects to the LTSA service team
n
- Maintain accurate service records,



spare parts usage logs and warranty claim documentation
n
- Assist in optimizing O&M; procedures and improving system reliability
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in BESS, solar PV, power system or electrical equipment maintenance/commissioning
n
- Australian recognized electrical engineering degree or relevant trade qualifications (electrical license preferred)
n
- Working knowledge of BMS/EMS/PCS systems, high voltage safety procedures and Australian electrical standards
n
- Experience with fault diagnosis and root cause analysis for power electronic or battery systems
n
- Melbourne-based, willing to travel to project sites across VIC/NSW, available for on-call emergency response
n
- Strong hands-on problem-solving skills, able to work independently on site
