The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Finance team.

About the Role:
n
Working closely with our Head of Finance, you'll play a key role in managing our financial operations - from monthly reporting and reconciliations to compliance and statutory requirements. This is a hands‐on position where you'll contribute to the financial health of one of the NRL's most iconic clubs.

What You'll Be Doing:
n
n
- Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
n
- Leading month‐end and year‐end processes
n
- Managing compliance obligations including BAS/GST returns
n
- Overseeing accounts payable and receivable functions
n
- Supporting audit processes and budget preparation
n
n
What We're Looking For:
n
n
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Commerce
n
- CA/CPA qualified (or working toward completion)
n
- 3-5 years' post‐graduate accounting experience
n
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
n
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software (Xero or similar)
n
- Proactive mindset with ability to identify and implement process improvements
n
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
n
- Previous experience in a similar role and familiarity with sports or non‐profit organisations is a plus
n
