McArthur is inviting expressions of interest from experienced local-government and public-sector professionals for potential upcoming temporary and contract assignments with councils across metropolitan and regional New South Wales.

About you

n

Suitable applicants may have:

n

n
- Previous experience within a NSW council, government agency or comparable public-sector organisation
n
- Demonstrated experience delivering projects, programs or specialist technical services
n
- Knowledge of relevant local-government legislation, policies, procurement requirements and governance frameworks
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement, report-writing and communication skills
n
- Experience managing budgets, contractors, consultants, tenders, risks or project schedules
n
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, technical certifications or trade credentials
n
- Experience with systems such as TechnologyOne, Content Manager, TRIM, Pathway, VendorPanel, Tenderlink or Microsoft Project
n
- A current Class C driver's licence
n
- The ability to complete relevant police, medical, licence or pre-employment checks
n

Recent Australian local-government experience is essential. Applicants must have worked directly for a council or delivered relevant services to a council. NSW local-government experience will be highly regarded.
