An exciting chance has arisen for a Legal Counsel to join the established in‐house legal team of a highly recognised Australian organisation with a significant national presence.

n

Reporting to the Head of Legal, this role offers a broad mix of disputes and commercial matters within a dynamic, fast‐moving business environment. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, providing practical and commercially focused legal advice on a wide range of operational issues.

Responsibilities

n
- Insurance‐related claims and litigation
n
- Managing externally run matters
n
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial contracts and agreements
n




- Flexible working arrangements with 1–2 days WFH
n
- Office conveniently located close to public transport and parking available
n

n

Qualifications

n

n
- Approximately 5–9 years' PQE
n
- Prior in‐house experience is essential
n
- Experience across litigation/disputes and commercial contracting
n
- Commercially minded with strong stakeholder engagement skills
n
- Someone who enjoys variety and partnering closely with the business
n
