An prospect has become available for a Graduate Lawyer to join a specialist legal practice working across debt recovery, secured lending and enforcement matters.

This is an excellent entry point for a graduate looking to build strong practical legal skills and gain hands‑on exposure to disputes and recovery work from the beginning of their career.

Working alongside experienced lawyers, you will assist with a broad range of recovery matters while developing your skills in drafting, court processes, file management and client communication.

The Role

You will gain exposure to matters across the debt recovery and enforcement lifecycle, including:

- Assisting with commercial and secured debt recovery matters.

- Preparing letters of demand, notices and other recovery correspondence.

- Drafting court documents, affidavits and supporting materials.

- Assisting with the commencement and progression of recovery proceedings.

- Conducting legal research and preparing file notes and advice.

- Supporting lawyers on mortgage and secured lending enforcement matters.

- Assisting with bankruptcy and insolvency‑related processes.

- Liaising with clients, courts, external solicitors and other stakeholders.

- Managing deadlines, court dates and procedural requirements.

- Developing responsibility for your own matters as your experience grows.





You will receive guidance and supervision from experienced practitioners while progressively building the confidence to manage files and communicate directly with clients.

About You

We are looking for a law graduate or recently admitted lawyer who is keen to develop a career in debt recovery, litigation and enforcement.

You will ideally have:

- Completed, or be close to completing, a law degree and practical legal training.

- Strong written communication and attention to detail.

- An interest in litigation, banking, insolvency or commercial law.

- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.

- A practical and commercially minded approach.

- Confidence communicating with clients and other stakeholders.

- A willingness to learn and take on responsibility.

Previous experience as a paralegal, law clerk or legal assistant within litigation, debt recovery, banking or insolvency would be advantageous but is not essential.
