About the role

n

We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Perioperative Registered Nurse with solid experience in Ophthalmology Scrub/Scout nursing to join our dynamic clinical team on a full-time, Part-time and Casual basis. Monday to Friday adaptable roster.

n

Duties and responsibilities

n

n
- Assist the nursing team to deliver secure, evidence-based patient care
n
- Ensure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgery
n
- Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus
n
- Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications
n
- Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery
n
- Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift
n

About You

n

You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world‐class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare.



You will have:

n

n
- Solid experience in Perioperative Ophthalmology Scrub/Scout nursing
n
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or similar
n
- Current AHPRA registration
n
- Thrive in a faced paced specialised team
n
