We are currently looking to speak with Safety / Systems Assurance Engineers for a permanent role, based in Brisbane.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Deliver safety engineering for signalling and infrastructure projects to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
n
- Report to the Principal Consultant, manage the system assurance framework to meet RAMS objectives.
n
- Manage risk assessments, plan, run, and document risk workshops independently.
n
- Support business development, write proposals, identify risks, develop method statements, and estimate resources and costs.
n
- Manage and deliver smaller projects, aligning with client objectives and project goals, under the guidance of the Project Director.
n
- Ensure scope, schedule, and risk management to deliver quality, on time, within budget.
n
- Own specific work packages for larger projects,



collaborating with a team to deliver quality results.
n
- Maintain overall client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
n
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and industry participants.
n

Requirements

n

n
- 5 to 10 years of practical experience as a Systems Assurance Consultant or similar within Rail.
n
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
n
- Preferably with railway signalling or related background.
n
- Experience with Train Control and Protection Systems for traditional or high-speed lines, including ETCS or CTCS, RBC, TCC, LEU, Balise, EVC, SDU, BTM, STM.
n
- Experience with metro line systems like CBTC, including ZC, DSU, LEU, Balise, EVC, SDU, BTM.
n
- Knowledge of Interlocking and Train/Vehicle Detection systems, such as Computer Based Interlocking, track circuits, axle counters.
n
