Clinical Assessors - Single Assessment Service

McArthur has exciting opportunities for experienced Comprehensive/Clinical Assessors to work in a locum capacity with a leading organisation committed to providing high-quality assessment services to older adults.
n
This is the perfect role for an experienced Clinical Assessor who wants more flexibility and control over their schedule than what a permanent role can offer, while making a real difference in their community.

The Role
n
You'll conduct autonomous, person-centred assessments to determine the care and support older Australians need to live safely and independently at home.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
- Conduct timely, holistic assessments that enhance independence and quality of life.
n
- Liaise with families, carers,
and service providers as key stakeholders in the assessment process.
n
- Manage your assessment schedule to meet Department of Health timelines and quality standards.
n
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
n
n
Note: This role involves travel within the Eastern or Sothern metro region. (You will be assigned a region closet to your location)
n
What We're Looking For
n
PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE THE BELOW for these short-term roles
n
Must have completed Comprehensive Assessor certification and MAC training plus recent experience working as a Clinical / Comprehensive Assessor within the Single Assessment Service.
n
n
- Tertiary qualification in Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Allied Health, or Social Work
n
- Strong knowledge of aged care legislation, CHSP, and Support at Home
n
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
n
- Valid Australian driver's licence and a fully insured vehicle.
n
- Availability for at least 4days per week, part time and full time roles currently available.
n
