About the Role

n

We have 12 month and 24 month Fixed‐Term Contract positions available on an 8:6 roster, Monday‐Monday, FIFO from Brisbane and Townsville, or DIDO from Mount Isa, Cloncurry and McKinlay shires.

n

As the Core Yard Technician, you will be responsible for managing the preparation, handling and storage of core and sample materials to support production and exploration outcomes.

Responsibilities

- Maintain core yard, equipment and storage systems
n
- Coordinate sample dispatch and laboratory submissions
n
- Liaise with drilling contractors on sample standards
n
- Track inventory, consumables and sample records
n

Candidate Requirements

- Knowledge of diamond drilling and sampling practices within the mining industry
n
- Strong organisational and time management skills
n
- Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
n
- Ability to maintain accuracy across large data sets
n
- Cooperative approach within technical teams
n
- Intermediate computer literacy
n
- Current C class driving licence (manual)
n
- First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
n
