What you'll do

n

The People Data and Insights team seeks a motivated Data Analyst. The role involves leveraging analytical skills to transform raw data into actionable insights.

n

n
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and problems and suggest data-driven solutions to inform actions
n
- Analyse large data sets using statistical and data mining techniques to identify trends and patterns
n
- Create clear and compelling visualisations to communicate findings to stakeholders
n
- Craft narratives that translate complex data into understandable stories that resonate with stakeholders
n
- Build persona-based, user-centric analytical/reporting solutions; through the use of SQL querying logic, Tableau and Looker
n
- Manage automated access to reports and dashboards through detailed role-based permissions in GCP/Tableau
n
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data sources and analysis methodologies
n
- Observe data privacy principles, maintain confidentiality and ensure data security
n
- Maintain and update documentation including; process; specifications, support documents and testing scripts
n
- Build and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders,



including senior leadership
n

What you'll bring

n

You are a natural problem-solver, driven to create solutions that meet business needs. You have:

n

n
- 2+ years experience with People data and reporting
n
- A degree in Information Technology or relevant discipline
n
- Advanced skills in querying, extracting and wrangling data
n
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Data Storage, Dataprep, BigQuery, Data Studio, Sheets, Slides)
n
- Ability to work with large volumes of data with complex definitions
n
- Experience in data analysis and insight generation
n
- Advanced knowledge and application of table relationships, advanced querying in applications, aggregate queries, macros, and pivot tables
n
- Knowledge of Tableau and/or Looker (or similar application)
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
n
- An enquiring and questioning mindset and attention to detail
n
