Automotive Technician (Motor Mechanic)
n
About the Role
n
As a Qualified Automotive Technician, you will deliver high-quality servicing, maintenance and repairs while contributing to a positive, team-oriented and safety-focused workplace.
n
Your key responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults across a range of vehicle systems
n
- Carrying out scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs
n
- Completing vehicle inspections and pre-delivery checks
n
- Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards
n
- Accurately completing job cards and relevant workshop documentation
n
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment
n
- Working collaboratively with Service Advisors, Parts Interpreters and fellow Technicians
n
- Supporting the development and mentoring of Apprentice Technicians
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will:
n
n
- Hold a relevant Automotive Trade Qualification
n
- Have strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
n
- Take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
n
- Demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills
n
- Have a strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
- Enjoy working as part of a supportive and collaborative team
n
- Hold a current Australian driver's licence, with a manual licence preferred
n
n
Previous dealership experience or exposure to Mazda vehicles will be highly regarded but is not essential.
