Always Prompt Repairs is looking for an experienced appliance repair technician to join our Brisbane team.

n

You'll diagnose and repair premium domestic appliances across Brisbane, working with brands including Miele, Bosch, ASKO, Liebherr and Neff.

n

This is proper diagnostic work. You'll have access to manufacturer training, genuine parts, technical information and people you can call when an unusual fault refuses to make sense.

Your van is set up for a working technician: dual batteries, 240V inverter, camp fridge and ventilated seat covers. You won't be trying to diagnose premium appliances while working out of a dusty ute with loose parts rolling around the tray.

Less administration, more technical work

We use Simpro and practical AI-assisted systems to make technicians' lives easier—giving you quicker access to job history, service information, photos, parts and customer notes.

Our systems are there to reduce repetitive paperwork and help the office support you. They don't replace your judgement, tell you how to diagnose a machine or monitor your every move.

You finish the job notes while the details are fresh and get on with your day. No pile of paperwork waiting for you at night.

You'll be supported in the field

n

Always Prompt has a dedicated Underwood office team that answers the phone, manages customers and helps keep the day moving.

n

Our parts coordinator handles stock and parts enquiries, so you aren't spending your evenings chasing suppliers. When you need a second opinion, you can speak with another technician, the office or the manufacturer's technical team.

n

You'll have autonomy without being left on your own.

n

The work

n

You'll diagnose and repair:

n

- Ovens and electric cooktops
n
- Dishwashers
n
- Washing machines and dryers
n
- Domestic refrigerators
n
- Waeco/Dometic camping and caravan refrigerators
n
- Premium European and Asian domestic appliances
n

n

Most jobs are completed in customers' homes, with some workshop-based repairs at Underwood.

n

At present we do not provide general electrical or air-conditioning services.

n

Who we're looking for

n

This position will suit an experienced appliance, whitegoods or refrigeration technician who:

n

- Diagnoses faults methodically instead of replacing parts until something works
n
- Takes pride in completing a repair properly
n
- Communicates confidently with customers
n




- Keeps a clean, organised van
n
- Turns up professionally and respects the customer's home
n
- Can work independently but knows when to ask for a second opinion
n
- Records clear job notes and photographs
n

n

Experience with Miele, Bosch, ASKO, Liebherr, Neff, Fisher & Paykel or LG would be valuable, but it isn't essential. We can fund additional manufacturer training and certifications for the right technician.

Requirements

n

n
- Appliance repair or closely related diagnostic experience
n
- Full, clean Queensland driver's licence
n
- Unrestricted Australian working rights
n
- Contactable skilled references
n
- Queensland electrical or restricted electrical licence preferred
n
- ARCtick refrigerant handling licence advantageous, but not essential.
n
- Appropriate LPG/gas appliance servicing licence or endorsement advantageous, but not essential.
