Project Manager - Luxury Apartment Build

The Company

Our client is a luxury developer-builder that delivers high-end apartment projects across the Lower North Shore.

Development, design and construction are managed in-house, allowing the Project Manager to work directly with the people making the key project decisions.

The Role

You will take overall responsibility for delivering a 40-apartment luxury residential development from preconstruction through to completion. Your responsibilities will include:

- Establishing and managing the master programme and critical path
- Leading procurement and subcontractor engagement
- Managing design development, consultants and approvals
- Overseeing project costs, forecasting, variations and risk
- Leading the site and contract administration teams
- Managing subcontractor performance
- Driving quality, safety and compliance
- Reporting on programme, cost and project risk
- Managing commissioning, completion and handover

About You

You will have:

- Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering Class 2 apartment developments
- Experience with a head contractor or developer-builder
- Delivered residential projects from preconstruction through to handover
- Solid programming, procurement and commercial management skills
- Experience leading site, contract administration and consultant teams
- Sound knowledge of NSW construction legislation and the Design and Building Practitioners framework
- A relevant construction, engineering or project management qualification
