About the Role

n

As an Electrical Leading Hand, you'll play a key role on the workshop floor, leading by example, supporting the team, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a qualified electrician ready to take the next step in their career.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Lead and coordinate day-to-day workshop activities within the switchboard assembly team
n
- Mentor and support tradespeople and apprentices to build capability and accountability
n
- Champion a strong safety culture, identify risks, drive safe behaviours, and uphold standards
n
- Ensure all work meets quality specifications, drawings, and compliance requirements
n
- Work closely with supervisors and production teams to meet deadlines across a busy pipeline
n
- Take ownership of your area,

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Qualified Electrician (A-Grade or equivalent)
n
- Experience in switchboard manufacturing or industrial electrical assembly
n
- A natural leader or someone with strong leadership ambitions ready to step up
n
- A genuine commitment to safety, quality, and accountability
n
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
n
- Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
n
- High standards, attention to detail, and pride in your work
