We run agri-tourism experiences and supply fresh cherries to Australia's supermarkets, independent grocers, and fresh produce markets. We also export our fresh cherries around the world.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Cherry season is almost here and we're looking for energetic, people-focused team members to join us for an exciting season in the Yarra Valley!

Ready for an exciting seasonal role in the beautiful Yarra Valley? We're looking for energetic, people-focused leader to join our crew for an action-packed cherry season!

From mid-to-late September through to mid-to-late January, you'll be part of a fun, fast-paced seasonal workplace surrounded by the stunning Yarra Valley, just one hour from Melbourne CBD.

No two days are the same! You'll play an important role in bringing our seasonal workforce together, from recruitment and onboarding through to inductions and training. Once the cherries start rolling in, you'll shift gears and help keep our packing facility running smoothly, efficiently and safely throughout the season.

What you'll be doing:

- Lead and support a large seasonal production team, ensuring people are motivated, productive and working effectively together.
- Oversee day-to-day production operations in a food-handling environment, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency and meeting deadlines.
- Promote and maintain a safe workplace, ensuring WHS requirements, procedures and legal standards are consistently followed.
- Support our online store, from order processing through to working closely with our packing and logistics teams.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, solve problems and work closely with key stakeholders to achieve operational goals.
- Assist the HR Manager with the recruitment, onboarding and induction of seasonal staff.

About you:

- You have your own vehicle and a current full driver's licence
- You have experience managing people, ideally a team of at least 20, and feel confident enforcing policies and procedures to maintain a secure workplace
- You're confident using Microsoft Office, rostering systems and MS Suite (Excel spreadsheets), with the ability to quickly learn new systems and platforms.
- You have strong written and verbal English skills and can communicate clearly and respectfully with a diverse range of people
- You enjoy a role that combines practical, hands-on work with administrative responsibilities
- You know how to prioritise tasks, stay on top of daily responsibilities and solve problems effectively. You'll be a trusted go-to person for our seasonal packing facility team, communicating issues clearly and escalating matters when required.
