Melbourne City Dermatology is a well-regarded specialist dermatology practice located in the Melbourne CBD, providing comprehensive care across medical dermatology, skin cancer, and procedural work.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a full-time Dermatology Fellow to join our team, with an immediate start available.

n

This is a postgraduate supervised training position suited to a candidate looking to consolidate and refine their skills within a structured private practice workplace. The role offers consistent exposure to a broad dermatology caseload, with a strong emphasis on skin cancer diagnosis and management.

The Role

n

n
- Consulting independently across general dermatology and skin cancer presentations
n
- Assessing and managing patients in an efficient, high-volume clinic setting
n
- Performing biopsies and excisional procedures appropriate to experience
n
- Participating in melanoma and high-risk patient surveillance
n
- Preparing clear, concise correspondence to referring practitioners
n
- Maintaining high standards of clinical documentation
n
- Working closely with an experienced nursing and administrative team to ensure smooth clinic flow
n

About You

n

n
- Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists (FACD), or equivalent recognized specialist dermatology qualification
n
- Solid grounding in general dermatology and skin cancer medicine, with procedural competency
n




- Ability to work independently while maintaining sound clinical judgement
n
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a consistent patient load
n
- Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal
n
- A pragmatic, patient-focused approach aligned with private practice expectations
n

This role is best suited to a candidate who is motivated, reliable, and comfortable working in a clinically demanding environment.

Remuneration

n

- $175,000 – $185,000 per annum (commensurate with experience)
