EnerMech is seekingExpressions of Interest from experienced Supervisor Welding professionalsfor upcoming shutdown, maintenance, and project opportunities throughout the Gladstone region.

This opportunity is suited to hands-on leaders with a strong background in welding operations, quality assurance, workforce supervision, and safe project execution within heavy industry environments.

About the Role

n

As a Supervisor Welding, you will oversee welding activities on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while leading and supporting multi-disciplined work crews.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

- Supervising welding personnel and subcontractors
n
- Coordinating daily work activities and resource allocation
n




- Ensuring compliance with welding procedures and quality requirements
n
- Driving a strong safety-first culture across all operations
n
- Monitoring productivity and project performance
n
- Liaising with clients, site management, and project teams
n
- Supporting shutdowns, brownfield maintenance, and capital projects
n
- Ensuring all work is delivered safely, on schedule, and to specification
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Demonstrated experience in a Welding Supervisor position
n
- Extensive experience within mining, oil & gas, power generation, LNG, resources, or heavy industrial sectors
n
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, procedures, and quality systems
n
- Proven leadership and team management skills
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
n
- Commitment to safety excellence and continuous improvement
n
- Current Driver'sLicence
n
- Relevant trade qualification and supervisory experience
n
- Additionalsite inductions, certifications, and tickets highly regarded
n
- Recent Police Clearance
n
- Full Australian Working Rights
n
- Local to Gladstone
n
