An established Australian business is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Invoicing & Sales Administration Officer to join its administration team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a varied role supporting both the Accounts Receivable and Sales functions, with a strong focus on accurate invoicing, administration and providing reliable support to the wider business.
This position would suit someone who enjoys working with numbers, systems and people, takes pride in getting the details right, and is looking for a role where no two days are exactly the same.
About the Role
Working closely with the Accounts Receivable and Sales teams, your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and processing customer invoices accurately and within required timeframes
Reviewing job documentation, dockets, purchase orders and supporting information prior to invoicing
Identifying and following up missing or incomplete information required for invoicing
Entering and maintaining accurate customer and job information within internal systems
Assisting with accounts receivable administration and general finance tasks
Providing administrative support to the Sales team
Assisting with quotes, customer information, job setup and general sales administration
Responding to general customer enquiries and directing queries to the appropriate team member
Maintaining accurate electronic records and filing
Assisting with reporting, data entry and general administration
Working with internal teams to ensure information required for invoicing and customer management is received and processed efficiently
Providing general administrative support to the wider team as required
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and takes pride in producing accurate work.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
Previous experience in invoicing, accounts administration, sales administration or a similar administrative role
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Good numerical and analytical skills
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Professional and confident communication with customers and internal stakeholders
Good computer skills and confidence learning new systems
A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks
The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team
A willingness to learn and develop their knowledge across both invoicing and sales administration
Experience with accounting, invoicing, transport, logistics or operations management systems will be highly regarded.
