The Role: Cook

n

- Cook delicious, healthy and nutritionally balanced meals using our Nido Menus.
n




- Purchase food and supplies for the kitchen.
n
- Ensure dietary and allergy requirements and restrictions for every child are supported by having thorough knowledge of risk minimisation and communication plans.
n
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
n

What You'll Bring

n

n
- Certificate II or III in Commercial Cookery – desirable.
n
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate – required.
n
- Experience working in a childcare or aged care setting.
n
- Valid WWCC.
n
- Solid understanding of allergens and dietary requirements.
n

Please note: Any candidate employed from 1 April must provide a certificate confirming completion of the Federally mandated 'National Child Safety Training' via Gecco, or must be willing to obtain prior to employment.
