Central WA hospital (Wheatbelt region) is looking for a Senior Medical Officer in Emergency Medicine. Position is Temporary.

JUNE 2026 – EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
n Shifts suitable for – FACEM, SMO or SENIOR ED REG (PGY 6+)
n Wednesday 10 2000 – 0830 + 40% loading
n Friday 12 0800 – 1800 + on call + 25% loading
n Wednesday 17 2000 – 0830 + 10% loading
n Friday 19 2000 – 0830 + 10% loading
n Saturday 20 2000 – 0830 + 10% loading
n Sunday 21 0800 – 1800 + on call OR 2000 – 0830 + 10% loading
n Sunday 21 1300 – 2300 FLOAT SHIFT
n Wednesday 24 1030 – 2030 + on call
n Thursday 25 2000 – 0830
n Friday 26 1030 – 2030 + on call OR 2000 – 0830

SMO/SNR Reg $2000-$2500 FACEM $2700- $2900 depending on experience

- Located in the Wheatbelt region of WA, this town is home to a diverse range of tourist and heritage attractions and has approximately 12,193 residents
n
- This hospital is equipped with 28 acute inpatients beds, 12 sub-acute inpatient beds and 22 same day beds
n
- Fuel reimbursed at 0.88 cents per KM from the doctor's home to hospital, return (within WA). Flights & hire car will be considered on a case by case basis (minimum number of shifts required depending on urgency). Hospital meals and accommodation provided.
