We are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to take full operational ownership of our retail store, team, and supporting operations. This is a genuine management role suited to someone who wants to lead, build, and be accountable for outcomes. Job Description Position: Retail Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

n

- Oversee the daily operations of the fuel service station, convenience store, and food service areas to ensure efficient business performance and high customer service standards.
n
- Monitor fuel, grocery, food, and retail stock levels, coordinate ordering activities, and maintain appropriate inventory control procedures to minimise shortages and wastage.
n
- Supervise, train, and support retail staff, including preparing work rosters, allocating duties, monitoring performance,



and ensuring compliance with workplace policies and procedures.
n
- Develop and implement sales, merchandising, and promotional strategies to maximise revenue, improve customer engagement, and increase store profitability.
n
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, food safety standards, fuel handling procedures, and company operational policies.
n
- Monitor daily financial transactions, reconcile cash registers, prepare sales reports, and assist in budgeting and cost control activities.
n
- Resolve customer enquiries, complaints, and service issues professionally to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
n
- Coordinate store presentation, cleanliness, and maintenance standards to ensure a safe, organised, and welcoming retail workplace.
n
- Liaise with suppliers, service providers, and senior management regarding stock supply, operational requirements, and business performance improvements.
n
- Analyse sales trends, customer demand, and operational performance data to support decision-making and improve overall store efficiency.

Skills, experience and education required

n

n
- Diploma or higher qualification in Retail Management, Business Administration or related field.
n
- Minimum 1 year full‐time relevant experience as a Retail Supervisor or Retail Manager.
n
- Strong leadership and staff management skills.
n
- Inventory and purchasing management experience.
n
- Financial and sales reporting capability.
n
- Customer service excellence.
n
- Knowledge of food safety and WHS compliance.
n
- Strong communication and problem‐solving skills.
