About the Opportunity
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected supplier to the Australian mining industry. Based in Sunshine soon to relocate to Airport West, this facility is seeking experienced and motivated CNC Programmer/Machinist to join their precision manufacturing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a CNC Programmer/Machinist with a toolmaking background, ideally combined with fitting experience, to work on high-precision components that are used across critical mining applications nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

- Program, set up, and operate CNC machines using G-code or related software.
- Write and interpret technical drawings and CAD/CAM files.
- Select appropriate tooling and machining strategies to meet tight tolerances.
- Perform in-process inspections and quality control checks.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and adjust machines as needed.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment to meet production and safety targets.

Qualifications & Experience





- Proven experience in CNC programming and machine operation.
- Background in toolmaking and/or mechanical fitting strongly preferred.
- Robust ability to interpret complex technical drawings.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Strong focus on safety, precision, and continuous improvement.

- Mon - Thur 6am - 2:30pm & Fri 6am - 12:30pm
