About The Role

n

- Supporting a female adult.
n
- Supporting safe access to the community.
n
- Assisting with attending appointments.
n
- Supporting shopping and daily activities.
n
- Encouraging and maintaining routine health and wellbeing.
n
- Providing person-centred support that promotes independence and choice.
n

n

About You

n

n
- Female carer (participant preference).
n
- Must drive with a full Australian driver's licence and own car with comprehensive car insurance.
n
- Experience with schizophrenia and borderline personality disorder (BPD).
n
- Experience supporting people with complex or challenging behaviours.
n
- Calm, patient, and professional approach at all times.
n
- Strong communication skills and good spoken and written English.
n
- Ability to follow support plans.
n

Shifts Available (Ongoing)

n

n
- Thursday 10am-2pm.
n
- Saturday 10am-1pm.
n

n

Additional shifts may be available in the future, subject to needs and roster availability.

n





What We're Looking For

n

n
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Disability Support Worker.
n
- Proactive approach to supporting clients to achieve goals and maintain community connections.
n
- Physically capable of supporting regular outings and activities.
n

n

Compliance Requirements

n

n
- NDIS Workers Screening Check.
n
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate.
n
- Working with Children Check (WWCC).
n
- Full Australian driver's license.
n
- Comprehensive car insurance.
n
