This Australian financial advisory business has reached the point where AI is no longer just a talking point.

They've already deployed live use cases that removed significant manual effort from core workflows. Leadership saw the value quickly, which has created buy-in, budget, and a growing list of recent problems to solve.

Reporting to the Head of Technology, you'll join a lean AI team and help turn that momentum into scalable AI systems across the business.

The Role:

n

This is not a classic ML or Data Science role! It's a hands‐on senior IC role for someone who can take a real business problem, apply AI in practice, and ship solutions that deliver value.

n

That could be a Microsoft first full‐stack engineer who has moved into building AI agents and applied AI systems. Or, it could be a Power Platform developer who has expanded into AI, automation, and workflow delivery.

What you'll be doing:

n

n
- Design and deploy AI agents and intelligent workflows across key business use cases
n
- Build across Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse, and the wider Power Platform
n
- Develop data pipelines, semantic models, and reporting to support AI and analytics
n




- Integrate AI solutions into core systems through APIs and Azure services
n
- Turn successful internal use cases into repeatable, governed solutions
n
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify workflow and automation opportunities
n
- Ensure solutions meet privacy, governance, and audit requirements
n

What We're Looking For:

n

n
- Hands‐on experience building AI agents, intelligent workflows, or applied AI solutions in a commercial setting
n
- Strong Microsoft ecosystem capability across Power Platform and Azure AI services
n
- Experience with prompt engineering, RAG, knowledge retrieval, and system integration
n
- Good grounding in data, reporting, and analytics, with Fabric or other modern data platform exposure a plus
n
- Able to work end‐to‐end, from discovery through to build and rollout
n
- Comfortable operating as a senior IC with a high level of autonomy
n
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with non‐technical stakeholders
n
- Experience in financial services, professional services, or other detail‐heavy environments would be valuable
n
