Seeking D365 FinOps Functional Consultant / Functional Analyst for permanent end user role based in Melbourne (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

- Functional Expertise & System Configurationn n
- Lead the design and implementation of solutions that align with the organisation's strategic objectives.
n
- Provide expert-level functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and its core modules.
n
- Translate complex business needs into clear functional specifications and solution architectures.
n
- Manage and configure system elements such as workflows, forms, entities, business rules, and security roles.
n

- Business Process Optimisationn

n
- Lead cross-functional teams to co-design and deliver process improvements enabled by technology.
n
- Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, or standardise business processes, ensuring platform-driven value creation.
n

n
- Project Delivery & Business-as-Usual (BAU) Supportn

n
- Take ownership of planning and delivering initiatives that impact multiple business areas.
n
- Prepare documentation to support strategic decision-making and guide project execution.
n
- Estimate effort and resources for current features, enhancements, and configuration changes.
n

n
- Stakeholder Engagement & Functional Supportn

n
- Serve as a subject matter expert for executives, management, and governance groups, offering advice on system capabilities, enhancements, and strategic planning.
n




- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure solutions meet requirements.
n
- Provide timely and expert-level support to end users, resolving functional issues and queries.
n
- Proven ability to operate effectively at a senior level, demonstrating sound judgment, strategic thinking, and contributing to digital capability development.
n
- Experience leading stakeholder consultations or managing change initiatives that span multiple departments or have a broad organisational impact.
n
- 3–7 years of hands-on experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant.
n
- Advanced skills in configuring Dynamics 365 applications, including workflows, business rules, dashboards, and forms.
n
- Demonstrated capability to evaluate and optimise end-to-end business processes across areas such as customer service, case management, finance, project delivery, or fundraising.
n
- Ability to accurately estimate scope, resource requirements, and dependencies for proposed system changes and enhancements.
n
