Adjustable Electric Bed Delivery Technician (MR Driver)
Full-Time | 3 Weeks On / 1 Week Off Roster | Interstate Travel

Ultramatic is one of Australia's leading suppliers of premium adjustable electric beds. We are seeking a reliable, practical and self-motivated Delivery Technician to join our interstate operations team.

This is a hands-on role involving interstate deliveries, customer installations, expo stand setups and pack-downs, warehouse duties, and long-distance driving. The successful applicant will be comfortable working independently, following detailed procedures, and travelling extensively throughout Australia.

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering, assembling, servicing and collecting adjustable electric beds at customer homes, warehouses and event venues across Australia.

You will also play a key role in setting up and packing down our exhibition stands at major consumer shows and events.

This position involves regular interstate travel, overnight stays and periods of working independently.

Roster

3 Weeks On / 1 Week Off

The roster includes:

- Interstate travel
- Overnight accommodation
- Long-distance driving
- Expo and event schedules
- Early starts and occasional late finishes

All travel, accommodation and approved work-related expenses are paid by the Company.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver, install and collect adjustable electric beds
- Assemble and test adjustable bed systems in customer homes and event locations
- Conduct interstate driving and transport of stock and equipment
- Complete expo stand setups and pack-downs
- Follow stand plans, measurements and layout diagrams accurately




- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
- Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments to electric bed systems
- Complete job sheets, delivery documentation and operational checklists
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
- Maintain company equipment and presentation standards
- Provide qualified customer service at all times

Essential Requirements

- Current MR Driver's Licence
- Strong practical and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- Physically fit and capable of safely handling heavy and bulky products
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout Australia
- Professional presentation and communication skills

Desirable Experience

Experience in any of the following will be highly regarded:

- Furniture installation or assembly
- Delivery driving
- Event setup and logistics
- Warehousing and distribution
- Trade assistant or labouring roles
- Customer-facing service roles

Salary & Benefits

$85,000 – $100,000 + Superannuation

Salary will be negotiated based on experience, skills and qualifications.
