Overview

n

Role: Assistant in Nursing (AIN) based at St Vincent's private hospital, Darlinghurst, Sydney, Australia.

n

Responsibilities

n

n
- Provide support to the nursing team, both Enrolled and Registered, in the delivery of nursing care in an acute, sub-acute care and surgical services team.
n
- Tasks may include gathering of equipment, simple wound dressing, assisting clinicians with set ups of theatres.
n
- Deliver person-centred, evidence-based care in accordance with relevant standards and legislation.
n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
n
- Engage in continuous quality improvement activities and contribute to a culture of safety and learning.
n

About You

n

n
- Relevant Certificate III qualification or 2nd year nursing.
n
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, under delegation, and the ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team.
n
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
