Civil Plant Operators Wanted | Major Solar Farm Project | 3rd August 2026 Commencement

701 Recruitment is partnering with a leading civil contractor delivering works on the Smoky Creek Solar Farm project kicking off on 3rd August 2026. We're seeking experienced civil operators and labourers to join the team on a major renewable energy project.

n

With multiple positions available, this is a great opportunity to secure ongoing work on a well-established project.

n

We are currently seeking:

n

n
- Watercart Operators
n
- Moxy Operators
n
- Roller Operators
n
- GPS Excavator Operators (20T-36T)
n
- GPS & UTS Grader Operators
n
- General Civil Labourers (roller and/or watercart tickets highly regarded)
n

n

What's on offer:

- Ongoing project work
n
- Monday to Saturday roster (6 days on, 1 day off)
n
- 10.5-hour days
n
- Great team environment
n
- Opportunity to work on a major renewable energy project

To be successful, you'll have:

n

n
- Previous civil construction experience
n
- Relevant RII tickets for relevant machine operating positions
n
- Relevant plant operating experience for the role you're applying for
n
- Construction White Card
n
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
n
- GPS experience essential for Excavator and Grader positions
n
- UTS experience required for Grader Operators
n
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced construction setting
n
- Strong work ethic and reliability
n
