Due to continued growth, EWS Recruitment are hiring experienced Dozer Operators to work in the Waste Management sector in Melbourne and throughout Victoria. Hired candidates will contribute to a team, who strive to achieve and improve standards in providing a clean and safe environment for future generations by serving daily waste management needs. Role and Responsibilities
n
n
- Prepare landfill site by breaking, moving, loading, and spreading materials including earth, rock, rubble, and soil.
n
- Sorting waste/demolition using a dozer on‐site
n
- Providing accurate and timely work
n
- Preparing and positioning plant for on‐site operation
n
- Showing a concern for safety on jobs and ensuring Health and Safety measures are followed
n
- General site maintenance duties
n
- Accordance with EPA waste codes must be met
n
- Ensure that all stockpiles are within Emergency Management Plan limits
n
- Reporting any issues with equipment or conditions to management
n
n
Skills and requirements
n
n
- 2+ years Dozer/Grader experience on‐site
n
- HR Drivers licence
n
- Additional tickets essential
n
- Waste management background beneficial
n
- Good awareness and communication skills
n
- Reliable method of transport
n
- Motivated with a valuable work ethic
n
- Punctuality with an eye for detail
n
- Listen and follow instructions from management
n
n
