Role Overview
n
Managers will own a client portfolio, lead a team, and drive client engagement.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns (companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals)
n
- Lead special projects such as succession planning and tax planning
n
- Provide tax compliance and advisory services
n
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
n
- Collaborate with Directors on client strategy and growth
n
- Oversee workflow, deadlines, and team performance
n
- Mentor and develop junior accountants
n
- Coordinate with clients and the ATO on compliance matters
n
- Manage GST reconciliations and BAS lodgements
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
- Proven experience in Australian tax and business advisory (essential)
n
- 4–5+ years in public practice or accounting firm environment
n
- CA/CPA/CTA qualified or in progress
n
- Strong technical skills in tax compliance and financial reporting
n
- Excellent client‐facing and communication skills
n
- Leadership capability or readiness to step into a manager role
n
- Willingness to relocate or be based in regional WA (Esperance, Narrogin, Wagin)
n
- Experience or interest in agribusiness is highly regarded (especially for Narrogin/Wagin)
n
