As a Waste Truck Driver/Labourer, you will be required to work on roster collecting waste from household, commercial and public bins throughout the City in a safe, efficient and effective manner while adhering to safety procedures and maintaining a high level of customer service.
n
To be successful in this role, you must have current and valid 'HR' (minimum 'HR-A') class driver's licence, and experience in operating side and/or rear loader waste collection vehicles. You are able to work independently and possess good time‐management skills.

To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria as part of your online application:

- Demonstrated experience in waste collection vehicle operation
n
- Demonstrated ability to deal with a variety of situations requiring a sensible and calm service approach
n
- Experience complying with relevant Work Health and Safety legislation and working in a safe and efficient manner, having regard to own safety and that of others
n
- Minimum of one year's experience driving heavy vehicles in a built‐up metropolitan area
n
- A satisfactory National police certificate is required
n
n
This Position Offers a Gross Wage Of $1,669 Per Week Which Incorporates All Allowances Including The Adverse Conditions Allowance And Penalty Rates, And
n
n
- 12% superannuation with the option to co‐contribute up to a further 5%
n
