- Oversee the Reliability and Improvement team.
n
- Lead your team of Engineers to deliver the highest level of technical support for maintenance on site.
n
- Provide leadership, direction and strategy to the site Operational and Capital expenditure programs.
n
- Support installations, modifications and upgrades while aligning to site protocols.
n
- Responsible for the monitoring and upkeep of the sites’ engineering standards.
n
- Review engineering and maintenance systems and processes onsite.
n

Requirementsn n
- Clear accountability to drive safety first and foremost, leading the way with hazard identification, risk management and safety inspections.
n
- Mentor, guide and coach your team to deliver against performance targets and provide motivation to create an excellent working setting.
n
- Maintain a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the company values.
n
- Provide technical guidance for maintenance activities to provide a high standard.
n
- Comprehensive knowledge of preventative maintenance strategies and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) – SAP preferred.
n
- Ability to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders.
n
- Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
n
- Previous experience performing the same or similar role in the industry.
n
- Sound knowledge of risk identification processes, safe work practices and relevant Australian standards.
n
- High levels of resourcefulness, versatility, initiative, personal organisation, and diplomacy.
n




- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
n
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering and be willing to obtain and hold Mechanical Engineering Manager (MEM) accountabilities in the future.
n
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, along with proven front-line leadership capabilities and extensive experience within the mining or heavy industry sectors.
n
