The Panorama Hotel Bathurst is entering an exciting new chapter, and we're looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team and work closely with our General Manager.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who enjoys hospitality, takes pride in delivering great customer experiences and is ready to take the next step in their career.

The Role

Working alongside the General Manager, you'll help oversee the day‑to‑day operation of the hotel, ensuring our team, customers and venue are all looked after to a high standard.

You'll be involved in:

- Supporting the General Manager with the daily operation of the hotel
- Leading and motivating the team across busy service periods
- Delivering outstanding customer service and hospitality
- Managing shifts and ensuring smooth operations
- Supporting bar, gaming, bistro and general hotel operations
- Maintaining high standards of presentation, service and compliance
- Assisting with staff training, rostering and performance
- Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally
- Taking responsibility for the venue when required

About You

We're looking for someone who:





- Has previous experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality
- Is confident leading a team and making decisions
- Has a strong understanding of hotel/pub operations
- Is customer‑focused and genuinely enjoys hospitality
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills
- Leads by example and isn't afraid to get hands‑on
- Is reliable, professional and brings a positive attitude
- Is looking to develop their career within a growing hotel group

You must be available to work nights and weekends. While evening availability is essential, this is not a late‑night role – the hotel closes at midnight at the latest.
