Your new role
n
You will manage a fleet of 19 trucks and oversee a team of approximately 20 transport staff. The role requires leading daily fleet operations, ensuring compliance, and maintaining a strong safety focus across all activities.

Responsibilities
n
- Manage day‐to‐day fleet operations, scheduling and driver coordination
n
- Monitor vehicle maintenance, compliance and safety standards
n
- Identify and implement cost‐saving opportunities across the fleet
n
- Support drivers with issues or queries, including occasional after‐hours calls
n
- Ensure all transport activities meet legislative and industry requirements
n
- Lead and mentor a team of around 20 staff
n
- Report on fleet performance and improvement initiatives
n
Requirements
n
- Dangerous Goods (DG) Licence
n
- Current truck licence (minimum Medium Rigid)
n
- Forklift licence
n
- Experience managing fleets, transport operations or similar environments
n
- Solid understanding of compliance, safety and maintenance
n
- Flexibility to assist the team outside standard hours when required
