Bethanie Home Care offer a variety of services to ageingAustralians, allowing them to live independently in their own home throughout Perth, Geraldton and in the South West.

We provide support with day-to-day living including personalcare, domestic assistance and gardening services, as well as respite services and social support.

n

We are currently seeking a Relief Qualified SupportWorker to provide services across the entire North Metro area, fromMount Lawley to Two Rocks.

n

You will be ensuring continuity of care across our Home Care North Metro services by providing flexible support where it isneeded covering leave and new clients.

n

To be successful in this role, you must be available to commit to:

n

n
- Permanent part-time employment, working a minimum of 30 hours per week
n
- Plenty of work if you are available between the hours of 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday.
n
- Driving throughout the North Metro delivering in-home support to many and varied clients.
n

n

Access to a Bethanie fleet vehicle will be provided for this role and we offer a travel reimbursement of $1.05/km.

n

About You

n

n
- Previous experience working in an aged care or communitycare environment
n
- Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations
n




- Hold a current driver's licence and have access to a reliable vehicle
n
- Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to apply for one)
n

The Role

n

n
- Professionally deliver a variety of services including food preparation, cleaning and laundry services, personal care, as well as supporting hobbies, interests and leisure activities
n
- Ensure all living areas of clients' homes are kept clean, tidy and safe from hazards
n
- Ensure all personal care tasks and outcomes are met and documented appropriately
n
- Support clients with transport to appointments
n
- Provide social support to clients by spending time doing the things they love
n
- Prioritise a personal connection with clients, ensuring respect and compassion is shown at all time
n
