Regional IT Support Engineer - 6-month fixed-term contract

About the Role

Are you a customer-focused IT professional who enjoys solving problems and supporting users across a dynamic global business? We are looking for a Regional IT Support Engineer to join our Melbourne team at Hallam and provide technical support to users across the ANZ region.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide onsite and remote support for end-user devices and applications across the APAC region
- Manage and resolve IT support tickets in line with global IT standards and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and connectivity issues
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes for employees
- Assist with identity and access management processes and collaboration platforms
- Support cloud, infrastructure, backup, patching, and system update activities
- Work closely with vendors, regional teams, and global IT colleagues to deliver effective solutions
- Promote cybersecurity awareness and ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards




- Contribute to process improvement, documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives

Qualifications and experience

- Degree qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years' experience in IT support, desktop support, or a similar technical role
- Experience working with ITSM platforms and ticketing systems
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, endpoint devices, Azure, and Active Directory environments
- Experience supporting remote desktop and virtual environments
- Exposure to cloud technologies and cybersecurity principles
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- A proactive, customer-focused approach and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
