Overview

Seeking a Senior Associate to join the Workplace Relations, Employment & Safety (WRES) practice in Brisbane. Full‐time and permanent. The role involves working with partners Shae McCartney, Christy Miller and Hilary Searing on a range of workplace matters, including industrial strategy and disputes, project management, compliance, restructuring, underpayments and litigation across courts and tribunals.

Responsibilities

- Advise clients on workplace relations, industrial relations, employment, occupational health and safety, and anti‐discrimination matters.
n
- Draft transparent, concise, commercial advice and documents.
n
- Assist in dispute resolution, project management and compliance activities.
n
- Mentor and coach junior team members.
n

Qualifications

n

n




- Proven experience as a Senior Associate working on a range of employment and industrial relations matters.
n
- Desirable: safety experience.
n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
n
- High initiative, organisational ability, and a strong client and commercial focus.
n
- Proactive attitude toward personal development and ability to expand skills and knowledge.
n
- Self‐starter capable of working autonomously and maintaining attention to detail.
