The Senior Project Officer, Support to Comply leads the delivery of the Support to Comply - Extending Benefits project, overseeing the design, development and implementation of guidance, policies and procedures for industry and regulators. This Senior Project Officer supports Resources Victoria's transition to a duty-based framework under the Mineral Resources (Sustainable Development) Amendment Act 2023.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
n
n
- Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information in clear, practical and user‐focused guidance, and to lead the development and quality of communication materials.
n
- Sound understanding of government processes, policy development and regulatory frameworks with demonstrated ability to interpret legislation into operational guidance and procedures.
n
- Experience developing guidance or operational materials, ideally in a regulatory or reform environment.
n
- A relevant tertiary qualification in project management, public policy, regulatory policy or strategic communications would be well regarded.
n

This is a fixed term position available until 31 March 2027.
The work location for this position is Melbourne CBD with hybrid work arrangements available.
