Warehouse Operator - Laverton - Day Shift

Join our Laverton Plant as Warehouse Operator on a Full-Time basis.

n

As a Warehouse Operator you will assist with the running of the dispatch functions within the warehouse. You will prepare and process orders while you monitor stock levels and check inventory levels.

n

Ideally you will have experience and exposure within a manufacturing environment and be open to learning the necessary trade and skills to be successful.

n

The Role & About You:

n

n
- Pre-start exercises prior to work commencing each day
n
- Forklift pre-start checklist daily (as required needs to change gas cylinder on the forklift)
n
- Cutting straps off stock and removing top sheet of 'fence' product
n
- Putting stock away (palletized and non-palletized product)
n
- Stacking accessories SKU's onto shelves Housekeeping duties – Clear debris such as broken timbers, fibre cement sheet from floor to ensure areas are clean and safe.
n
- Hold a valid Driver's License
n
- Excellent attention to detail with strong interpersonal & communication skills
n
- Ability to perform manual laboring around the plant as required.
n
- Hold a valid Forklift license
n
- Manual handling of up to (20kgs)
n
- Be reliable and punctual with a solid work ethic.
n




- Loading products onto trucks for customer deliveries
n
- Receiving and checking customer purchase requests
n
- Filling out dockets and confirming completion of orders
n
- Placing gluts onto packs to assist in the loading
n
- Picking and loading accessories (i.e. buckets, bags, strips etc)
n
- Handling Top Hats, capping and other long accessories / Splitting packs (i.e. flat sheets, Trim and columns)
n
- Sorting through damaged stocks and strapping of packs for transport
n
- Any adhoc duties as required
n
