Job Description
OUR CLIENT
n Our client is a well-renowned healthcare organisation located in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs. As part of a broader business transformation and operational uplift, they are looking for a Fleet & Logistics Coordinator to take ownership of their fleet administration processes and support improvements across their operations.
n
With a fleet of approximately 350 vehicles operating across 50 locations, this role will play a key part in managing day-to-day fleet issues, resolving outstanding queries and improving processes to create greater visibility and efficiency.
n
This is an excellent chance for someone with a customer service, logistics, supply chain or administration background who enjoys problem solving, taking ownership and improving the way things are done.
n
THE ROLE
n Reporting to the Head od Supply Chain Logistics, you will take ownership of the Fleet inbox and work through a backlog of outstanding issues, ensuring fleet-related queries are resolved accurately and efficiently.
n This role will require someone who can work autonomously, investigate issues, identify root causes and implement practical solutions. While this is not a traditional fleet management role, it will suit someone with strong problem-solving skills who enjoys working through operational challenges and improving processes.
n Key responsibilities will include:
n
- Manage and resolve fleet-related issues including toll invoices, fines, breakdowns and general vehicle queries
n
- Take ownership of the Fleet inbox, prioritising and clearing backlog items
n
- Investigate recurring issues and identify root causes to prevent future problems
n
- Review fleet processes and identify opportunities for improvement
n
- Investigate issues such as incorrect toll processing, missing E-tags and vehicle administration gaps
n
- Work with internal stakeholders and external providers to resolve queries
n
- Maintain accurate fleet records and documentation
n
- Support the creation of centralised fleet information and processes
n
- Assist with vehicle movements between locations when required
n
ABOUT YOU
n We are looking for someone who is naturally curious, organised and enjoys solving problems. You do not need to come from a dedicated fleet background, however experience within logistics, supply chain, transport, administration or customer service will be highly regarded.
n You will bring:
n
- Experience working within logistics, supply chain, customer service, fleet administration or operations environments
n
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and find practical solutions
n
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of tasks
n
- Strong attention to detail and administration skills
n
- Confident communication skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders
n
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work through a backlog of tasks
n
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and data management
n
- A current driver's licence (required, as occasional vehicle movements may be required)
